Certified Translation (aka Sworn Translation)

Many of our clients require their translation to be certified. This service can be provided to meet the requirements of almost any official institutions. It comes with a certification statement from our company that declares the accuracy of your document.

A certified translation consists of the following three parts:

• The source-language text (original document)
• The target-language text (translated document)
• A statement signed by the translator, with his or her signature optionally notarized by a government entity (e.g. embassy), attesting that the translator or translation company representative believes the target-language text to be an accurate and complete translation of the source-language text.

Depending on the country where the translated document is to be used, a certification for translators may be required. In the USA, at the time of writing, there is no accreditation required to provide a certified translation and  it is not necessary to be certified or licensed in order to provide a certified translation for official use.
